Coaching |A journey from Self-Reflection to Self-Actualization

Once, in a conversation with a friend, we debated the question of what makes for an exceptional subject in creative representation: a digital camera, a painting, or the work of a sculptor. Our discussion revealed a fundamental truth: the key to leaving a lasting impression does not depend on which one of these you choose but on the space where you aim to make your impact.

To make our mark in a particular space, we must first delve into the unexplored aspects of our personality. This self-discovery is often facilitated by a ‘Coach' who serves as a catalyst for our transformational journey. A coach helps us in gaining self-awareness and provides guidance in channeling our thoughts and energy towards fostering positive change. In essence, it is the inner journey and the intention to make a difference that ultimately define the impact one can have.

Whether it is work, connection with our team members, equations with our leadership and even personal life, a refined coach helps us navigate and sail the best possible way. In many organizations today, managers have to take the role of a coach to help employees adapt with the changing business environment.

My own journey into coaching began when a friend introduced me to the concept and its potential. As I have embraced this path, I have witnessed numerous positive shifts in how I engage with the world around me, reinforcing my belief in coaching as a powerful tool for personal growth and change.

To me, a coach is like a Candle, casting light on everything around us and offering clear and better vision. When we light up a candle, our apprehensions, confusions, and doubts in the form of darkness gradually fades making way for the clarity. Moreover, like the warmth and positive energy radiating from a candle, a coach helps in nurturing our inner strength and resilience.

I am grateful to Dr. Vineet Sharma and Shalini Verma Master Certified Coach (ICF) who ignited the spark and gave me the inspiration for ICF. I am thankful to Gaurav Arora, MCC (ICF) and Preeti Verma, PCC (ICF) ?? for propelling me towards continuous improvement. I also appreciate my accountability partners, Jahnavi Varampati and Nirupama for all the support and motivation.
