Coaching Graduation Ceremony Level 3

Coaching Graduation Ceremony Level 3

I decided to take up the coaching course because I was intrigued and excited to find out what it was all about. Of course, those weren't the only reasons, it was also because it was an excellent opportunity to learn more from the fantastic line of coaches. As they say, Learn from the best to achieve your best!

The journey has been very inspiring. I have learned and gained throughout with the guidance of the amazing coaches here. I love being part of the process of being entrusted with their problems/ideas to identify and solve/tackle an issue or enhance an idea. It makes me feel good & and very grateful. I may have been doing that before the programme however I have learned to do it in a much more structured and effective manner through this programme. I find the joy in coaching and I see it as part of who I am and not an external/additional thing I believe as many have said before, coaching skill applies to our life as a person no matter what our role may be.

The Coaching Graduation Ceremony was held concurrently with the TG Engineering Leaders Development Programme. During the ceremony, we had a few sharing sessions with the participants to share our experiences that I have briefly shared here as I found them to be very meaningful and inspiring

Shared by our special guest, one of the Coaches and our IT, General Manager, Dr. Kian Guan Tan ,

"I wanted to take the highway & and had set some target date but I had to use the normal unconventional 'kampung road' however in the end, I reached one of my destinations. Better late than never. And?like Tan Sri, I too shall keep learning till the end of my life."

An inspiring sharing by Mr. Roland Lim Yon Yaw, Senior Engineer,

If you don't already do what you love then learn to love what you are doing because passion alone doesn't get you far but enjoy the little things & and do them passionately?

By Ms. Low Joo Yee, Senior chemist,

To be a coach means to be better together with the coaches. ?It helps me to understand people better & and lead my team well.

Mr. Ang Zu Ring, Assistant Manager, Engineering,

From starting by saying how nervous he was, to giving one of the sincerest speeches ever. My main key takeaway from his sharing was perseverance and allowing us to understand ourselves is the best thing we can do for both ourselves and the people around us.

A wholesome sharing on what has been done, and what is to be done by one of the key people of the programmes and also one of our Coach, Dr. Jessica Tang, Deputy General Manager, HR,

"The journey to becoming a coach is not easy but to see all of you here, you all deserve to be celebrated. Practice celebrating even the smallest wins."

Not forgetting our amazing Master of Ceremony of the day, who was delightful. She not only emceed on the day but coordinated and followed up with all of us on our progress etc. throughout for which we are all truly grateful.

If you are somewhat curious about this programme then go for it. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying. Taking this opportunity to congratulate all of you here! Looking forward to what is to come. This is just the beginning. Thank you. Have a great day ahead!
