Coaches, Here’s How to Find Your FULL Power

Coaches, Here’s How to Find Your FULL Power

Being powerful and feeling powerful - There’s a big difference between the two. The first represents status, money, and influence. The second includes a deep immersion in life, in the present, and in your authentic self which all lead to the first one. You can have both.

Today, I want to talk about Executive Presence and how it connects to the second type of power. I also want to cover why it’s incredibly important for business coaches and consultants.

The Power of Being Fully Present

The secret that I’m about to share is meant for high achievers and leaders in the corporate world who want to hit their stride in the coaching world and achieve their dream revenue numbers while maintaining a lifestyle they love.

It’s a proven technique. And it’s worked for me and my clients on multiple occasions!

During my coach training, I was introduced to the Standards of Presence from Coach For Life. These are a set of guidelines that allow you to become deliberately and fully present in all areas of your life.

For me, they worked like a charm!

In order for you to understand the importance of these guidelines, here’s a little context. All my life, strangers have come up to me; whether to ask for directions, share their life stories and struggles, or even ask for advice. I'll bet this has happened to you too, as it has to most coaches I know.

While I welcomed the conversations, I was baffled. What made them comfortable enough to share their intimate stories with me? One time I was sitting in an airport, waiting to board the plane, reading a book, and a woman sat down next to me and said, “I don't want to board this plane.”

It turns out, she was going home on Thanksgiving to a very dysfunctional family. I simply listened to her, and she felt better.

After reflecting on these guidelines, I realized that the times in my life when others had approached me were when I had been fully present. These were the times when I was in the moment - whether relaxing at a restaurant waiting to get seated or enjoying my favorite book.

The Standards of Presence

The Standards of Presence are a set of guidelines that contain a precise methodology. By using this methodology, it puts me in my full presence whenever I wanted to be. This was a very new concept to me - to deliberately get into my full presence.

When I came home from my coach training, I began my coaching practice by giving complimentary coaching consultations. I had a phenomenal close rate. 24 out of 25 of my first consultations became paying clients.

I later realized that these astounding results could be attributed to the Standards of Presence.

I would just let each prospective client know at the beginning of the session that these were the guidelines I was committed to as their coach for the time we were together.

Because my prospective clients heard my commitment, my consultations were so powerful. Clients signed up for coaching right then and there. In fact, I remember one session where a businesswoman said to me, “I don't know what you're doing, but this is not like any other coaching session I've ever been in.”

Unleash the Power of Your Full Presence!

The Standards of Presence transformed my coaching career. They could do the same for you!

I‘ve had the honor of working with so many talented business coaches just like you who want to unleash their coaching success - on their terms. I’m here to tell you, you can have it all. The income, the lifestyle, your dream clients - all it takes is a little preparation in unleashing your full presence.
