Making decisions is a key skill for all business owners. For coaches, there are 5 key decisions that you need to make to grow a thriving, profitable coaching practice.?
The good news is, that we help and guide you every step of the way with making these decisions in the Mindset Coach Certification Program.
1. Deciding on a Niche:
Tip 1: Understand Your Strengths and Passions: When deciding on a coaching niche, the first step is to understand your own strengths and passions. Evaluate what topics or fields you are naturally drawn towards and skilled in. Remember that a niche you are passionate about can lead to a more enjoyable and fulfilling coaching experience.
Tip 2: Research the Market: It's also important to understand the demand in the market. Do some research to identify whether there's a market for your chosen niche, and whether this market is over-saturated or under-served.
2. Pricing Your Services:
Tip 3: Consider Value, not just Time: When deciding how to price your coaching services, consider the value you're providing to your clients, not just the time you're spending. This value-based pricing helps in justifying your pricing and ensures that you are adequately compensated for your expertise and effort.
Tip 4: Market Comparisons: Do research to see what other coaches in your niche are charging. This will give you a good benchmark for your pricing, though it should not be the only factor in your decision.
3. Choosing a Coaching Model:
Tip 5: Align with Your Goals and Values: When deciding on a coaching model, it's important that the model aligns with your own goals and values, as well as those of your clients.
Different models (one-on-one coaching, group coaching, online coaching, etc.) suit different styles and objectives. Consider how each model fits with your preferred way of working, your desired work-life balance, and the needs of your target audience.

4. Selecting Marketing Channels:
Tip 6: Identify Where Your Audience Hangs Out: Choose marketing channels based on where your target audience is most likely to be found. For instance, if your target audience consists of professionals, LinkedIn might be a suitable platform. Understand your audience's habits to optimise your marketing efforts.
Tip 7: Test and Adapt: Marketing is all about testing and adapting. Try different channels and strategies, track the results, and adjust your approach based on what is working and what isn't.
5. Developing Programs and Courses:
Tip 8: Listen to Your Clients: To decide what type of programs or courses to develop, listen to your clients. They will tell you what they need and want. Use these insights to create programs that address those needs.
Tip 9: Leverage Your Expertise: Develop programs and courses around areas where you are an expert. This allows you to provide maximum value and establish yourself as an authority in your field.
Tip 10: Test Before Full Launch: Always test a new program or course on a small group before a full launch. This allows you to gather feedback and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the program or course is as effective and valuable as possible.
These are important decisions to make and we guide you through each and every one of them in the Mindset Coach Certification Program.
