Coach Thought of the Week: Courage

Coach Thought of the Week: Courage

Nine years ago, I found my courage.?I left my full-time “secure” job and opened my private practice as a Life Coach.

I found the courage to create a better life for myself.

I left a job that gave me a false sense of “job security” and instead bet on myself.

I left a job that didn’t believe in my strengths and abilities and instead built my own belief in myself. I saw my own strengths and abilities. I didn’t need others to believe in them for me to do so.

I left a job with long hours for my own hours. Some days are long, but others are not. It is up to me to set up boundaries around work and play.

I left a job that was stressful all the time to a business with stress some of the time. My stress, on my own time.

My own courage for my own path.

For others, courage may be a different path than mine.

It may be staying at their jobs and creating their own path of belief and security. It may be staying at their jobs and creating their own success and happiness. It may be investing in themselves by staying at their jobs.

Each of us sees and experiences courage a little differently. Regardless of how you see your path to courage, create one that makes you happy.

A path that makes you happy knowing life is 50/50. A path that makes you happy knowing there will be difficulties. A path that makes you happy knowing you lived your best life.
