Coach for Success: A 24% Performance Boost & 41% Increase in Employee Satisfaction

This recent survey of Pakistani organizations (Sept 2024) revealed a powerful truth: Developing your Leaders is one of the most strategic investments you can make.

In this Survey, we have approached around 1000 Managers to evaluate the environment of Employee Development, especially through Coaching by their Managers. 80 Managers participated properly in the Survey with Written Responses electronically (Google Form). As we analyzed the Survey, it is observed that, by empowering your managerial talent, we're not just improving individual performance but also shaping the overall trajectory of our business. Here's why:

Below Survey focussed mainly on two most important outcomes for investors and Top Management, thaese are employee satisfaction, and overall organizational performance in terms of Business Growth.

Survey Results: ?Sept. 2024 ?(Impact of People Development/ Coaching )

It is encouraging that 44% of the Organizations have a formal Coaching Culture. Keep in mind the Managers who participated in the Survey are interested in Coaching Skills development. It means others probably think that Coaching is not having any impact on Business improvement. However, the Coaching and Employee Development culture is improving with the induction of qualified managers and educated owners.? Still, lots of improvement is needed.

However the purpose of the Survey was to evaluate the impact of Employee Development on Performance improvement in terms of Business Value, and Employees Satisfaction to reduce turnover.

Organizations with a Formal Coaching Culture

  • Prevalence: 35 out of 80 organizations (43.75%) implemented a formal coaching culture for employee development.

Impact:

  • Improved Performance: 24 out of 35 organizations having a Formal Coaching Culture (68.57%) reported improved employee performance.
  • Employee Satisfaction: 26 out of these 35 organizations (74.29%) reported increased employee satisfaction.


Organizations without a Formal Coaching Culture

  • Prevalence: 18 out of 80 organizations (22.5%) did not have a formal coaching culture.

Impact:

  • Improved Performance: 8 out of 18 organizations (44.44%) reported improved employee performance; compared with 68.57% in organizations having a Formal Coaching Culture .
  • Employee Satisfaction: 6 out of 18 organizations (33.33%) reported increased employee satisfaction, compared with 74.29% in organizations having a Formal Coaching Culture .

Comparison of Organizations with and without Formal Coaching Cultures

Two important outcomes that are Performance and Employee Satisfaction, were observed:

  • Significantly Improved Performance in Terms of Business Value: Organizations with a formal coaching culture exhibited a 24% higher rate of improved employee performance compared to those without.


  • Significantly Improved Employee Satisfaction: Organizations with a formal coaching culture demonstrated a 41% higher rate of increased employee satisfaction compared to those without.

Organizations with a formal coaching culture demonstrated a 41% higher rate of increased employee satisfaction compared to those without. This clearly led towards the productivity and Performance of the Employees. Organizations with a formal coaching culture exhibited a 24% higher rate of improved employee performance compared to those without.

Therefore, Organizations must spend a reasonable budget on their employees development, especially on Leaders. Leaders having effective leadership skills plays a vital role in motivation and productivity of their subordinates.
