A coach and a coacher story - about making dreams come true by staying focused and responsible to one self !

As a certified coach ( ACC, ICF) it is very rare to share a coach clients journey. It is but a private and awareness rising experience - actually often times for both coach and coachee!

However, many people have asked me how come I coach an actress and model in her endeavors to participate in a global beauty contest with a sustainability twitch - namely Miss Earth 2020? All on top of the fact that I mostly work in life science!

Well, with the latest greetings from Denmarks Miss Earth 2020 and now holder of the titel Miss Earth Fire - I will come forth and svare a story of great courage, temacity, perseverance and personlig responsibility.

Awareness and responsibility lies at the center of the journey of any coachee and in this case no small amount of goal setting as well. 

Michala participated in a global contest - where everything due to the pandemic was on her shoulders. Financing aside, she needed to up her networking skills to ensure the appropriate competent makeup artist, photographers, various attire suppliers not to mention studios and manuscripts. The latter all done by herself.

Overall the strength to do this was not apparent at first, many challenges in the first weeks of the project all but sent her counting.

But as most coaches know, the strength is found within any person coached we (coaches) all but have to unlock that social inner belief in self. 

Michala set out to participate as Denmark’s contestant, pageant, in Miss Earth 2020 back in September. On November 27 she came in among top 4 with 81 countries participating. Title, sustainability advocacy and obligations to the environmentally focused  global Beaty contest will follow shortly.

Overall my point is here that anyone can be coached, not everyone can win - but with the right mindset and attitude my coachee and this years Miss Earth Fire, Miss Michala Rubinstein did it. She put Denmark back on the arena for international modeling and all was done in a process of creating awareness of her own skills, competences and of course professionalism.

As Michala and I agree upon now - some projects are just worth it all - no matter how hard it looks at times ??

Only forward in mind and spirit can we overcome and win what we set out to do!
