Whatever happened to honest "debate"? There are many legitimate questions to be asked on both sides of the spectrum. Many horsemen across the nation are out of the Frey and don't know or don't care and just like the status quo with no questions asked. Training horses for many is just a way of life with a low to medium learning curve. HISA on the other hand is being sold at thwe 30 thousand foot level, in many cases, with no educational debate for the under the "super trainer" status. The two opposing groups are very far apart on the graphical curve of understanding the dilemma that really exists. Running a racing stable in the Covid era is an extremely difficult task and the "am I winning too much" is not among the priorities for understanding "what's next". Without the details of the fine print, costs and protocalls of any new system, the acceptance level is understandaly low for many. I would suggest a very basic, low level marketing campaign to lessen the altitudes between the contestants.
