Malawi joins the 50-in-5 campaign
On April 4th 2024, the Government of Malawi announced they have joined the 50-in-5 campaign! For Malawi, joining the 50-in-5 campaign is an opportunity to strengthen digital cooperation and work with other countries to enhance their digital public infrastructure in order to improve service delivery. As a member of not only the campaign but the Digital Public Goods Alliance as well, the Government of Malawi will begin exploring how to leverage open-source technologies, including digital public goods, to enable the implementation of safe, inclusive, and interoperable DPI. Senegal state agencies comply with policy on public data management after Media Foundation for West Africa(MFWA) Fellow’s report
Since November 2023, state agencies in Senegal have been transferring data in their possession to a national storage centre purposely built for the safekeeping of public data.
