Co-creating a Technical Talent Training Framework for Nigeria
One key approach in my role as a Minister is to ensure that we are co-creating with the relevant industry players for the different initiatives and interventions under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. 2 weeks ago, my team and I had a session with some key stakeholders from the tech ecosystem to co-create possible pathways to training 1 million technical talents as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s target of creating 2 million digital jobs.
I’m pleased to share the initial output from that workshop and our next steps in this document here https://b.link/1MTTReport.
The report outlines the initial discussions from the session and several rounds of iteration with the participants to deliver a comprehensive document. As was mentioned, this is the first in a series of engagements, and I’d love to hear your initial feedback as we plan for the next phase.

1 年Hello Mr Emmanuel, Many bundle customers have not recovered their funds especially those who made use of bundle vault. My mother in law is one of these people and Binance is requesting for a log or record of her vault in bundle for them to process and pay back. Your customer supports is saying they have no records which by law you are supposed to keep for 7 years. All we need is our money

1 年The work carried out by the Honourable Minister Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani in crafting the "1M Technical Talents Training Co-Creation Report" is genuinely commendable. It reflects a forward-thinking and comprehensive approach to addressing the critical need for technical skills in the digital age. Here are some key suggestions for further improvement: *Suggestions for Improvement*: 1. Inclusion of Power Skills: Acknowledge the importance of power skills (soft skills) alongside technical skills. Incorporate power skills development into the framework as they are essential for holistic skill acquisition. 2. Measurable Targets: While the report sets clear objectives, it would be beneficial to include specific, measurable targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and success over time. 3. Detailed Funding Strategy: Provide a more detailed funding strategy, including budget estimates, potential sources of funding, and a sustainability plan. This will strengthen the financial aspect of the initiative. 4. Communication and Promotion: Develop a comprehensive communication and promotion plan to create awareness about the initiative among the target audience, including potential talents, employers, and training providers.
