Co-Creating a Conversation

Any relationship, including a conversation, is created by three parties: You, the other person, and what you together are creating (co-creating).

Wherever you are, be aware of the present moment, of your thoughts and feelings, and of what is happening outside of you. Some birds might be singing, or you might be in a crowded space. No matter where you are, be here and now, in and outside of you.

Breathe deeply and acknowledge yourself, the perfectly imperfect being that you are, and the unconditional love that emanates from your heart.

Listen to the person in front of you, whether in person or virtually; it does not matter. Feel the words in your heart. What do you feel?

Continue listening and observing. Become aware of the connection you are holding with the person. You are in relationship with them.

The connection becomes more vital as you listen with your heart and mind - wholeheartedly - to the words that are being shared and as you concentrate on being here and now in this relationship.

When you are speaking, stay in your heart. Listen to your feelings and translate these into words. Let your mind be the servant of your heart.

Let the words flow out of you as you feel your heart speaking.

Open your heart to the relationship you are holding. You do not have to know where you are heading, what you are saying, or what you are doing. Just let yourself flow in awareness of your presence.

Set your mind aside, for there is no need to control anything.

Let your words flow from your heart in honesty and humility, for there is nothing to hide, as you are who you are.

The conversation is flowing moment by moment in connection through the heart. Everyone involved being themselves, showing up as who they are in wholeness.

There is nothing to give away. On the contrary, you nurture each other exponentially and the conversation you are co-creating.

Nothing can exist and last when it has not been created from the heart.
