CMS 2024 - What an Amazing Event!

I had the incredible privilege of attending the "Looking Ahead at CMS for 2024" event. This gathering was a true testament to the power of in-person connections, insightful discussions, and the spirit of giving back.

The panel discussions were nothing short of extraordinary, offering deep insights into "ACQUISITION TRENDS & CONTRACT VEHICLE TRENDS", "TOP INITIATIVES IN 2024", "EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND STRATEGIES" and "WHAT DOES CMS LOOK LIKE MOVING FORWARD" that left everyone feeling enriched and inspired. It's truly remarkable how sharing knowledge and ideas can ignite our collective passion for positive change.

The real highlight, however, was reconnecting with so many GovCon compatriots - Mr. Robert Fisher (always a blast!!), Monique Outerbridge , Michael Tekampe , Srikalyan (Sri) Tangirala , and meeting some fantastic associates I've known virtually forever - Melissa Starinsky , Jennifer Bowman, CP APMP, CSM , Satish Bobburi , JR Glass, MS, MBA, PMP (Bruce Willis doppelganger), Kathleen Dyson ( will ping you when I get my Indian Scout Bobber), Jason Cullum (my friend - never lose the trademark hat!!), Andrew Mannetti , Bryce Golwalla , Chris Szeluga (looking forward to connecting with Johanna Y. ), Slava Katz (man – I’m done playing catch up with you, no more for me, I'm barely surviving with 4 kids), Anil Boinapalli , Monty D'Ambrosio (I need to start working out with you), Hee Ahn , Joseph Kostakis , Darryl Marshall , Michael Garbus, MBA ITIL , Lisa Klein , Srinivas Chennamaraja , Nandita Desai Gududuri , Gary Rubalsky, PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist , Melanie Marsh, MSW , Joe Freburger , Sachin Mathur . Laura Bennett , I was looking forward to finally connecting in person and missed you, I promise next time! There's something magical about putting faces to names and sharing laughter and conversation in person. It's a beautiful reminder of the human connections that technology can't fully replicate.

One of the best moments was finally meeting the wonderful Marianne Bowen , CMS's own (retired), which was totally unexcepted, ?thank you so much for finding me!!

But that's not all; I also had the pleasure of making new connections - Rupak Desai , Peter Helffrich , Imran Memon , Tahmeed R. , Raj Katarapu , Mohit Arora Dan Lee . I apologize if I forgot to mention anyone else I had the pleasure of meeting at the event.

Meeting people who share your interests and values is a wonderful experience that always leaves me grateful and humbled. ?

I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Shelley McGuire and her team for orchestrating such an outstanding gathering. As always, your hard work and dedication to bringing people together for meaningful conversations, have not gone unnoticed.
