Big Tech News Last Week 

• Apple had a number of announcements last week including their new product, the AirTag.
• Last week I shared Discord was being acquired by Microsoft, this week the acquisition is off.
• Robinhood has confidentially filed to go public.  
• There is a huge semiconductor shortage, and now Cisco says it will only last 6 more months (TSMC the chipmaker says the shortage will last 1+ years).

• Here is a simple overview of the most common SaaS metrics (Churn, LTV, CAC, etc.) with further detailed breakdowns on each metric. 
• Erik Bernhardsson (fmr engineering manager at Spotify & CTO of Better), lays out his wishlist for software infrastructure. Great read for all founders building systems software, data tools, open source, etc.
