OneSubsea became a new company last October, doubling the size of the organization, as they joined forces with Aker Solutions .
Needless to say, there is significant work ongoing right now to integrate the two teams while balancing short-term priorities vs long-term strategy, says Fl?isand.

Aker BP and DeepOcean complete autonomous inspection trials
Ocean services provider DeepOcean and Aker BP have successfully completed subsea trials with an Autonomous Inspection Drone (AID) at the Aker BP operated Alvheim field in the central North Sea.
Extended Call for Abstracts
Due to many request for some extra time to collect and submit abstracts, the programme committee for the Underwater Technology Conference in Bergen has granted an extended deadline for abstract submission. The new and final deadline is 2 February.
