We are delighted to announce the latest release, version 3.99, of CloudLIMS—a SaaS, in-the-cloud LIMS with zero upfront cost for biobanks, clinical research, clinical diagnostics, and analytical testing labs such as cannabis, environmental, material, food and beverage, and water testing labs. Take your lab to the next level of performance and efficiency with the latest version of CloudLIMS.
The latest version includes:
- Automated Unit Conversion for Submitting Test Results to Metrc: While submitting results to Metrc, an adjustment to the units might be required if the reporting units mandated by Metrc differ from the instrument-generated result units. With CloudLIMS, calculation in the required unit happens seamlessly, so you do not have to worry about manual calculations. To achieve this, we have introduced a new section in CloudLIMS to capture all the details Metrc requires, including Strain ID, Strain Name, Item Category, and Metrc Sample Type, when adding samples. After adding a sample and assigning a test to it, CloudLIMS automatically displays only the analytes relevant to your selected Metrc Sample Type, helping prevent errors and confusion. CloudLIMS automatically calculates test results to match Metrc’s required reporting unit. You just need to validate the test results and then upload the final results directly to Metrc via CloudLIMS’ API-powered integration.?
- Enhanced Storage Management: The latest update brings a range of powerful, time-saving features for managing sample storage. Now, with just a glance, you can see the available and total capacity of each storage unit, from freezers to shelves and boxes, enabling you to optimally utilize each storage unit. You can also rename and organize storage units effortlessly to keep your storage system intuitive and flexible. Furthermore, now you can easily delete parent and associated child storage units with just a few clicks. The functionality also reduces loading times.?
- Analytes View While Assigning Tests: Now, when assigning tests to samples, you’ll see an "Associated Analytes" column with clickable links for each test. With just one click, you’ll instantly get a complete breakdown of all analytes included in that test, displaying important details like Analyte Group, Name, and ID. This added visibility means you can quickly confirm which analytes are associated with each test type, all within the same window, ensuring a thorough, accurate analysis. Save time and make informed decisions at a glance.
