To cloud or not to cloud, what is your objective

When talking to customers, family, friends or even competitors, it always results in the same differences. Why do we need cloud, is it safe, or even "i want to physically be in control of my devices or data". These thoughts crosses everyone’s mind now and then. When reading the news articles and online opinions there is no good or bad answer. Since every objective might have a different approach or different fit for the chosen solution. But like a lot of articles already have written about, with the comments like “We all use cloud” there is still hesitation to fully embrace the solutions provided. Even IT service providers need to shift their hardware stack towards the private or public cloud environments. The need for compute, storage or connectivity is broadly offered. So why do we actually need to “own” hardware. Nowadays it is more efficient to get rid of the Jurassic CAPEX models and embrace solution partners to focus on your IT and let your business focus on the objective it has, and stay focused on that. Even with the GDRP and other regulations solution partners can consult your organization with the best directives driven for your business objectives.
