Cloud strategy - Manufacturing Sector

With offices in Australia and South East Asia, including several in China, this manufacturing and global distribution group is a very unique and enlightened Australian business. It’s facility in regional New South Wales has put to productive use a fabrication technology that had been left abandoned when the a manufacturing industry left Australia. Their distribution centre is metropolitan NSW.

Trouble was that their servers were overloaded with an old accounting and inventory package, as well as marketing files containing tens of thousands documents along with large images and also many video files.

Go Systems immediately put the organisation onto a fast internet service, and got them onto Azure AD. We got them onto the correct 365 subscriptions along with the required security modules. This is a critical component moving forward. Microsoft is a US$13B security company. Along with SaaS backup and Fortinet firewalls in place their security was covered.

We worked with one of our CEOs of Cloud alliance partners who assisted them to restructure their very large marketing document repository by archiving old files and simplifying access to current files along with a much higher level of added security. This project turned out to be a very sophisticated SharePoint implementation solution providing a much better way to access their data.

Key Technologies this organisation uses are based on a Microsoft foundation.:

  • Azure AD - turns the old approach of having your service provider manage who has access on its head. Putting the rules and security in place means less potential for lost or stolen files.

  • Teams - your internal and selected customer communication channel. Stop sending emails to colleagues and partners in-house. Next we will look to add voice.
  • Business Central - Dynamics 365?Business Central, a comprehensive business management solution for small and medium-sized?businesses
  • Dynamics CRM - integrates with everything Microsoft.
