Cloud Flexibility for Small Companies

Cloud Flexibility for Small Companies

One of the biggest advantages to the Cloud is flexibility. In the On-premise world any major change to business requirements often resulted in changes to the IT Infrastructure; and these changes, which included hardware procurement, installation and testing, usually had to be rolled out over several weeks and involved significant IT technical resources. The challenge was often meeting the business requirement in a timely fashion.

Now by using the Cloud, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME) can have access to the same services as large companies and get server instances up and running in matter of minutes. This allows for the responsive prototyping of new business ideas and allows software developers to be productive very quickly instead of having to wait weeks for an environment.

This was previously unheard of in the SME sector and now provides the ability to respond to a volatile business environment.
