Clouds=H2O=Water are beautiful to see as white ghosts in the bleu sky ...
Water vapor, all over the solar wavelength spectrum, is the best absorber of solar heat that we have in earth troposphere.
Carbon Dioxide is the black sheep of the global warming inconvenient truth or untruth but so far thermometers in the troposphere keep on telling that troposphere is warming and CO2 Keeling curve correlates in time with troposphere warming so for statistical climatology CO2 is the most important global warming parameter.
Keeling curve goes up every year with +2ppmV CO2 very consistently and the yearly summer/winter CO2-swing of +/- 6ppmV peak to peak, does not seem to be able to change anything about that at all ...
Keeling curve correlates perfectly in time with summer/noon TMax but winter/night TMin is another story...
Winter/night TMin decline since 1980 correlates more with the cloud cover decline since 1980.

At winter night there is no direct solar irradiation, only greenhouse back radiation can warm troposphere during a winter night.
Anyway :
In climate science there are too many unanswered questions and too many unquestioned answers ...
But :
Health & Climate & Energy are really very complicated and delicate politico-scientific stuff and also socio-economic stuff but we do the best we can and try to explain it as simple as possible but not simpler than that in the group :
