Integrating seamlessly with Daybreak Health’s mobile app, our Rapid Antigen Test Scanner allows users to take a photo of their rapid antigen COVID-19 tests and store them on Daybreak Health’s secure platform. Once a photo has been taken through the mobile app, artificial intelligence and machine learning models scan the photo and interpret a result.?This result is then integrated into the user’s digital medical record, where it can be presented or exported for clearance and screening procedures.??

This innovative tool was built in partnership with CopperHill Consulting - a trusted leader in healthcare and lifesciences technology. Utilizing thousands of community-sourced images of COVID-19 rapid antigen tests from various manufacturers, we trained a model on the AWS Rekognition computer vision platform to identify positive and negative test results. In our mobile app, an easy-to-use flow guides users through the process of capturing an image so that test results can be accurately and reliably validated.

Alongside the Rapid Antigen Test Scanner, we developed a digital questionnaire for patients to report symptoms upon their submission of a rapid test image. All data collected through the Daybreak Health mobile app is stored in secure, HIPAA-compliant systems. Daybreak Health and CopperHill will continue to refine the mobile app and continuously improve the computer vision models to support additional self-administered diagnostic tests.
