Closing The Gap

Closing The Gap

"The deciding factor in how we establish priorities - and the execution of those priorities - is the struggle between our present self and our future self."

James K. McPartland

Our life is driven by the purpose we give it, and is propelled by the priorities we connect to it. We become powerless when our purpose lacks an essential order of the non-negotiable action steps required to lead to its fulfillment. Practice in the "art of saying no" to the specific requests that divert us from our intentions is a lifelong pursuit.  With time being a non-renewable resource, we must protect it with a vengeance. Closing the gap between where we are -and where we want to be- requires us to be conscious of how our unconscious way of being will have us dragging the past into the future. It will also provide us with more present moment living. When we are AWARE we can live into a designed future, one that has us free of who we no longer want to be.
