A Closer Look at Alteryx Czech Republic

Thanks to our innovative products, focus on putting the customer first, and commitment to creating a great place to work, Alteryx is growing quickly. Last year, we hired hundreds of talented people around the world, and this year we'll add even more. One of the locations in which we’re scaling our team is the Czech Republic. ?

Let’s take a closer look at Alteryx Czech Republic. ?

In 2017, Alteryx had two major breakthroughs. The company went public and it also acquired a Prague-headquartered startup named Semanta. Founded in 2008, Semanta had created innovative, self-service data analytics tools and a unique data cataloging solution (now known as Alteryx Connect) which allows metadata discovery, sharing and collaboration. Since then, Alteryx Czech Republic has been going strong and growing the engineering and product teams in the market.?

Based in the heart of Prague, near Old Town Square, our office is full of the region’s boldest and most skilled software engineers, product managers and designers. They all want to test the limits of what's possible. The biggest team, Data Connector, is building the core components of the Alteryx engine which allows users to import data from various technologies such as databases, cloud and big data platforms. It also works on the design and development of Data Connection Manager, which is a secure, unified vault for storing and exchanging credentials and data connections across Alteryx products.?

Other teams in the office include the Platform team, which is focused both on creating the backbone of Alteryx’s products in the cloud and the next generation Alteryx platform. And, we have a team that is boosting Alteryx Connect with new features and new functionalities.?

In 2022, we’re looking to hire Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers and Product Managers to help us design and deliver the next amazing features for Alteryx products. The world of data and automation is constantly evolving, and these new team members will be at the forefront of this innovation. ?
