Authorities at airport, ATC and airlines have done a commendable job avoiding any eventuality, severe damage or injury.

Pilots allegedly switched off the healthy engine instead of the bird-hit one. Soon they realized their mistake and switched on the healthy engine. The response of the aircraft pilot/s, airside safety employees of both airline- and airport- operators, ATC Officers, Fire Safety Department and Civic Authorities are crucial to reducing or aggravating the impact of a bird collision with aircraft. That is the prime reason why BAH management training should be a part of the regular training and ab initio courses for pilots, ATC officers, safety employees of airlines and airports, Fire Safety Department, junior officers of aviation regulators and Civic Authorities such as Municipal Corporations, Port Authorities and even Police Department.
