Why I started this blog: No, it's not because I enjoy writing nor is it a form of creative expression. The official PR objective was to promote future P1 while I really wanted to connect with a wider audience by creating value for them. I don’t believe I have achieved my intention.

Why it is a challenge

My England is not so tall as some people say - or is it just in my circle of friends. It’s a taxing process of an ugly first draft, editing by my comms team, weekend approvals with some trade off that some things get lost in translation. It’s “almost” countdown time to new P1 launch, and time is what I don’t have. However, I still want to keep up my blog but must find an easier, more authentic way to do it.

Coming clean

Not going to hide behind a polished fa?ade and say it like ‘I’ say it. I just might convert this into a video blog and you’ll see ME: My small town roots, Chinese educated with imperfect English, excitable and passionate.

It’s time to pivot

I haven’t landed on creating value for you. What is in my area of expertise as a CEO of a communications service for Malaysians that you'll be delighted for me to share. I have landed on finding my voice. It will always be a mash-up of me and the editor, who may change as people move on as they sometimes do.

So I have decided to take
a mini hiatus to get this right,
to make this blog more useful
for you and essentially,
to become more authentic.

CC Puan Will miss your posts with their sharp insights, simply told. Maybe you may want to use the posts to get inputs for the P1 launch. Then it will not be a distraction but brainstorm with some of the Linkedin minds. Just a thought.
