The Clock is Ticking! Have you tapped into Artificial Intelligence yet as a Recruiting enabler?

?Imagine a world where every need is met right away. Your thermostat knows exactly where to set itself. Your car's sound system knows which song to play, when. Your grocer already knows your preference of paper or plastic.

?A lot of this sort of stuff - think self-driving cars, is already in the works. It's little secret that personalization, artificial intelligence and automation will play massive roles in the future of business.

?At present, the whatever means of recruiting we use, it all boils down to this vastly complicated *Request Response* based system which predominantly translates to what is called Inbound Hiring. The future of recruiting – think sometime as early as 2018 is when thanks to Big Data, there will be tools that based on your life’s preferences have been digitally captured indicate to enterprises who is the right hire and how can he / she be attracted.?

Imagine a tool or a suite of solutions that picks up publicly available professional data from LinkedIn, Xing, Github or StackOverflow even, interests and preferences from Facebook, contextual data from Twitter or Medium for that matter, patents and idealical data from Slideshare, thought leadership data from Quora and influence scores from Klout, mashes all of them up and based on these data points offers you one single interface to attract talent.

It further compares your profile to your employees profiles and gives you insights into which employees you should gun after basis cultural fitment and attitudinal fitment. Moreover, basis your organizational needs, it automatically runs campaigns at targeted communities and feeds talent on the fly all 1:1. Talent Pipelining will be history. Real time hiring backed by real time insights will be the mantra.

Outbound Hiring is what will thrive - this time around though, backed by big data, personalization, artificial intelligence and automation that puts the attention on three things that are key to recruiting. First, organizational success dynamics. Second, delighting candidates at every step of the candidate journey and then stretching into even the employee life-cycle as employees evolve into their career paths. And three, enabling Recruiters to be and act like world class marketeers, build 1:1 direct relationships with the candidates - all at scale, on demand. 

The future in the world of recruiting is exciting to say the least. Leaders who see into the future, invest  and develop outbound capabilities backed by big data, bring in efficiencies by automation, and use artificial intelligence to delight candidates at scale and help business with balanced scorecards that help them make business decisions in real time will win.

When you speak to a lot of super successful people and ask them what lead to their success, their answer often is, their passion. Emerging Talent Leaders are now thinking how can they ensure for their firms, they bring in talent basis their talent's passion. Firms that crack processes, algorithms, technologies that appeal to the human emotion, passion and focus on igniting that passion and that at scale, is what will enable true transformation. The way technology is enhancing, there are chances of recruitment job to be taken over by an artificial intelligence system in couple of years from now. A very well written article.
