One of the problems often I have experienced myself and seen other developers/testers undergo the same is that as part of our work we tend to search, copy text/URLs for multiple purposes like later reference, comparing requests, parameterizing values in JSON, XML, requests, etc. More than often we are required to go back and forth to copy one of the previous values. Today most of us use a simple notepad to dump the entire copy content into it and save it. There is no way we will know the sequence in which we copied them or the timestamp at which some operation was done. This hampers the productivity of the developers as well testers.

I have come with a java utility tool that will manage your System Clipboard history and am glad to share this with you all.

Having gone through the pain of figuring out the sequence of the copied text, I do not want you to have the same pain of missing take backup or store of what we do while doing copy-pasting. The utility will give the sequence of previously copied items along with the timestamp and in addition to this, you can save all your clipboard copy for future use by saving it through the utility.

Key Shortcut to get previously copied item: 1. press “ SHIFT ” release it, 2. Then as usual press “ Ctlr + V “ to Paste it.

How to Run : 

On Windows : 

1.Try to launch “CopyPasterManager.jar” or

2.Locate “execute.bar” file then double click to open.

On Mac : Locate “CopyPasterManager.jar” file then double click to open
