CLIPA (Christmas Light Installation Pros Association) Founder

CLIPA (Christmas Light Installation Pros Association) was started in 2017 by Matt Hyden as a Facebook group of installers helping installers.?It is comprised of Christmas Light Contractors, Distributors and Vendors from all over the US and Canada. This Facebook group that started out as a simple idea, now has over 6,000 members and continuing to grow year after year.

Matt's Mission for CLIPA is;

To create a family within the organization. He wants to connect these family members with one another to strengthen all members with education, support and offering service that is second to none.

CLIPA currently has over 200 active members and has continuously grow stronger every year.

CLIPA offers a variety of opportunities for installers at any level. CLIPA’s training modules can help the beginner just starting out and wanting to get into the industry to the more advanced that would like to train their employees.

Born in San Diego, CA Matt is a 1st generation Christmas Light Installer. He started hanging Christmas lights in San Diego in 1998 while keeping his day job at Ruth’s Chris.?After several years of dabbling in the mortgage industry,?He veered paths for some time to start a marketing company which eventually grossed $6.5 Million in its second year in business.?Being directly associated with the building industry, 2008 came around which presented a challenge to him to either sink or swim. He chose to swim.?After eventually selling the marketing company He turned himself back to his true passion, Christmas Lights.?Since then, He has been doing commercial installs all throughout California and conducting trainings for entrepreneurs seeking to get into the industry.
