Despite these challenges, there is a lack of personalized, restorative options integrated into clinicians' workflows, making it difficult for them to manage their mental health and well-being.

The Oasis Decompression Room:

To address this issue, ReefPoint Group, in partnership with Reimagine Well, has developed the Oasis Decompression Room, a dedicated space designed to alleviate clinician burnout through immersive technology and relaxation experiences. The initiative provides clinicians with access to an immersive environment tailored to their needs, allowing them to decompress during scheduled 15-minute breaks. Immersive Design: The physical space is carefully crafted to enhance relaxation with features like calming colors, soft lighting, and comfortable furniture. High-definition screens and VR headsets provide optional immersive therapeutic experiences.

Phased Implementation:

The Oasis Decompression Room pilot will be introduced in phases. In Phase 1, a small group of VAMC clinicians will participate over a 3-month period to evaluate the effectiveness of immersive therapeutic solutions. The pilot will expand in Phases 2 and 3 to larger and more diverse groups, with the ultimate goal of integrating immersive wellness solutions into the daily routines of clinicians and potentially extending the benefits to patients.
