Introduction:-
Nursing research is a crucial part of the educational process since it has a significant impact on both present and future professional nursing practise. In this article, two undergraduate nursing students who had the chance to work as team members on a project supported by the National Institute of Nursing Research share their learning experiences. The application procedure, the many tasks and learning opportunities undertaken by the students, as well as the advantages and results of the experience are detailed. By discussing their educational experiences, the authors wish to encourage other students to take use of the techniques discussed in this article. Nursing research is essential to the nursing profession and is required for ongoing developments that support the provision of the best possible nursing care.
Nursing Research's Importance:-
The learning process began with the study's primary investigator (M.S.T.) visiting the junior class (class of 2007) of baccalaureate students at the Medical College of Georgia. This particular student group was chosen based on their academic performance since they would get the opportunity to study directly from a nurse researcher for one full year before graduation. The principle investigator briefly introduced and highlighted the expanding area of nursing research, the advances made by nursing research, and the vital role of nursing research in nursing practise. The lead investigator also gave a description of the funded research study and invited students to apply for two part-time positions on the grant that were particularly created for nursing students.
The lead investigator defined objective application criteria. The requirements included submitting a maximum 1-page essay outlining why the students wanted to be a part of the research project as a team member, as well as outlining their personal and professional goals for participating in the study. Because so many students were interested, it was a highly competitive process. The writings were assessed by the lead investigator, who chose about ten people for interviews. The interview served as a supplement to the essay. During the interview, the main investigator defined the jobs in further depth, offered a full description of the project, and had the chance to learn more about the student applicants.?
We are accepting abstracts for CME/CPD accredited #13NHPSUCG2023 Conference on November 15-18, 2023, in Los Angeles, USA.

Experience in a Research Study:-
The students began working in early April 2006. The initial phase in the job experience was a 6-week subsidised orientation period. Because this was the students' first exposure to the research process, it was critical that they be provided with a solid foundation. Attending a team meeting and being introduced to the members of the multidisciplinary team (i.e., biostatistician, cardiologist, geneticists, nurse researcher, and psychologist, all of whom served as co-investigators, and the genetic laboratory personnel); reviewing the grant application; completing the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) (2000); completing the Roche educational programme on genetics; and touring the worksite facilitation were all part of the orientation. The review of the grant provided the students with a greater knowledge of the study's precise goals and objectives.
In spite of having a basic knowledge of genetics, the students completed the Roche Genetics Education Program (2004) in order to gain a more in-depth understanding. Das Programm war klar und einfach zu verstehen, und da es erkl?rungen sowohl visuell als auch auditiv enthielt, war es ideal für alle Lernstile. Die Erkl?rungen behandelten grundlegende und komplexe genetische Konzepte. Students learned more about genetics through the genetics program and learned more about its impact on personal health.

Conclusion:-
Nursing research must serve as the cornerstone of thorough, evidence-based clinical practise since nursing students are the future nurses and they are essential to the advancement of the nursing profession. Only through more exposure to nursing research could this happen. Therefore, it is crucial that aspiring nurses are exposed to, develop an appreciation for, and become more engaged in nursing research in order to incorporate its findings into the provision of the best possible professional nursing practise.
