ClimateCheck joins UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative Climate Risk Tool Dashboard
We are thrilled to announce that ClimateCheck is now incorporated into the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI)'s Climate Risk Tool Dashboard. UNEP FI promotes sustainable and environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-aligned investment practices. The dashboard brings together some of the best climate risk tools globally. Financial institutions and others can use it to find tools aligned to their specific needs.
ClimateCheck enables financial institutions and businesses to manage and mitigate risk for a portfolio of real estate assets. We serve a range of property owners and real estate stakeholders, including financial institutions, lenders, consultants, and equity investors. Our clients include KPMG, ERIS, Green Street, AvalonBay, and other organizations that are using our products for risk management and regulatory disclosures.
Our reports evaluate risk to individual properties, portfolios and specified areas across a growing list of climate-related hazards — including heat, precipitation, drought, flooding, wind, and fire — to create a 1-100 risk score for each hazard. Our risk ratings reflect current and projected risk based on both historical data and projections through 2050.?
Our inclusion in the dashboard helps to fulfill our mission of providing complete and reliable physical risk data to businesses and institutions that seek to adapt to the changing climate. Released in 2023 by UNEP FI’s Climate Risk and TCFD Programme, the dashboard is a searchable database of more than 40 climate risk tools organized by functionalities, assumptions and metrics. Anyone can use the dashboard to search for climate risk management and regulatory disclosure solutions.?
