Climate Terrorism

Climate Terrorism

When someone does a good deed, he is praised and appreciated by society. Conversely, if someone commits a wrongful act, he is condemned, and if that act endangers humanity, punishment is meted out—by individuals, society, or institutions. A society, nation, or country can only sustain itself as long as it upholds the principles of reward and punishment. The Creator of this universe has also established standards for humanity and jinn. Those who perform righteous deeds, exhibit good morals, worship one God, and have faith in His prophets and holybooks are promised eternal blessings, joy, rewards, paradise, and prosperity. In contrast, those who reject God and His messengers, engage in evil deeds, possess bad morals, and harm humanity are destined for an abode of torment—hell.

Since the creation of humankind, the Creator has established a law. This law is for the survival of humanity, the formation of exemplary systems, and the growth of societies. Adherence to this natural law ensures humanity's survival and fosters values, character, and standards. This message has been conveyed to all nations through the Quran, Torah, Psalms, and Gospel,

"Whoever saves one life, it is as if they have saved all of humanity."

emphasizing that by following this law, humans can secure their existence. Everything created by God is rooted in nature. It is only humans who, by prioritizing their desires over natural order, have disrupted the peace and prosperity that once characterized humanity. This disruption has led to chaos, unrest, destruction, and a swift decline towards doom.

The seasons, mountains, seas, skies, winds, and societies were once pristine and close to nature. However, due to human errors, they now suffer from unprecedented turmoil, unrest, and destruction. The difficulties and crises facing humanity today are unparalleled in history. The Earth has become a hub of disasters, accidents, challenges, and tragedies. Humans themselves are responsible. Since World War II, every passing day has been worse than the previous one. Following Vietnam’s war, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, America’s prolonged war on terror in Afghanistan, the Ukraine conflict, Middle Eastern wars, and the struggles in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and elsewhere, the Earth has already been shrouded in a cloud of distress, which has severely affected its beauty, peace, and prosperity.

Experts attribute climate change and global warming to factors such as excessive use of fossil fuels (diesel, petrol, kerosene), vehicle emissions, engine heat and burning industrial, commercial, and domestic waste. Over the last 100 years, the Earth's temperature has risen by 0.6°C. If environmental degradation continues at this rate, predictions indicate a 6°C rise by the end of this century, potentially reshaping the Earth’s landscape and putting human life at risk. Toxic gases in the atmosphere will deplete oxygen levels, leading to widespread mental and psychological illnesses, with only a few surviving deadly diseases. Today, climate change poses a greater threat to humanity than wars.

After the nuclear attack on Japan in World War II, now the attacks on Ukraine, Palestine and Lebanon have caused global temperatures to rise rapidly.

During the G20 meeting on Sustainable Development and Energy Transition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the UN Secretary-General stated that current policies are on track to increase temperatures by over 3°C, which would be catastrophic. He emphasized limiting temperature rise to 1.5°C and urged countries to accelerate their emission reduction rates to achieve a 9% annual decrease by the decade’s end. Unfortunately, emissions are currently increasing, necessitating a rapid shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, which are now the cheapest. The fossil fuel era must end. The Secretary-General stressed that all new projects must align with the 1.5°C policy, aiming to reduce emissions across all sectors and greenhouse gases by 2030 and 2035, as outlined in COP28 goals, including tripling renewable energy capacity, doubling energy efficiency, and halting deforestation by 2030.

After outlining these facts and events, I commend global organizations, compassionate leaders like Bill Gates, and other international entities and individuals for their tireless efforts to protect the planet from these threats, dedicating their wealth, time, and resources to saving humanity. While I applaud these efforts, I also strongly condemn the organizations, nations, and individuals whose negative actions undermine the work of climate change advocates, Bill Gates, and others striving for humanity’s welfare.

I draw the attention of the international community, global institutions, and climate change activists to identify and expose those deliberately sabotaging efforts to protect humanity. Who is jeopardizing humanity’s survival? Who is sabotaging the billions of dollars invested in combating climate change? Identifying and punishing these culprits is crucial, as their actions constitute terrorism, rebellion, and enmity against humanity.

I urge global institutions, the United Nations, and other organizations to legislate against such humanity-hostile acts and implement these laws globally. Perpetrators of such crimes must face severe punishment. Without stringent measures, the efforts of the international community for humanity’s survival could suffer immense damage. The world is on the brink, and failure to address these "climate terrorists" could lead to irreversible consequences. There are many threats to humanity’s survival, but climate-related actions demand immediate attention and decisive action.

The world operates on principles of justice, equality, ethics, and collectiveness. Everyone is entitled to equal rights to live, with the defense and attainment of basic human rights being fundamental. Education, health, and employment are inherent rights of humanity. Similarly, freedom of expression is a basic right. Countries, governments, and institutions that attempt to usurp these rights are the foremost terrorists. Those who suppress the efforts of individuals striving for these rights are human rights terrorists.

You may wonder, what exactly is climate terrorism? Allow me to explain: climate terrorism arises when, in every country, nation, and society, people form political, social, and economic movements and take to the streets to demand their fundamental rights. This happens when they feel that oppressive governments are denying their basic entitlements. In such scenarios, these groups collectively demand their rights from democratic governments or multy military democrative governments

When these rights are not granted, these groups protest, taking to the streets. In response, governments attempt to silence them by force, firing bullets, using tear gas, and conducting excessive shelling to suppress their demands. This excessive use of tear gas and shelling not only exposes millions of protesters to respiratory illnesses but also spreads its harmful effects across the nation, region, and beyond. This contributes significantly to global warming and a rapid increase in global temperatures, leading to various diseases besides respiratory illnesses.

On one hand, these governments rob people of their fundamental rights, and on the other, their violent actions, including shootings and excessive shelling, exacerbate environmental degradation, akin to "adding fuel to the fire." Where is this happening? Who is committing this climate terrorism? Let me inform the global community.

Tear gas used against peaceful political workers around the world

Dozens of Countries such as Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan have been witness to such actions, which continue to this day. The extent of shelling conducted in these regions not only harms the local environment but also endangers lives across South Asia and the world. Tear gas shelling alone has turned these regions into hotspots for climate disasters, jeopardizing humanity's survival.

The global community must take notice of such activities that contribute to global warming and environmental destruction. These actions by governments should be classified as acts of terrorism, and such governments should be formally charged. The global community must assign negative markings to these governments, discouraging their actions. By doing so, lessons can be taught, and such behavior can be curbed. Declaring such acts as terrorism would necessitate decisive actions.

Some forms of climate terrorism are as follows:

Deliberate Environmental Destruction in Conflict:

Government Policies Ignoring Climate Impacts:

Corporate Negligence:

Military Actions and Protests Suppression:

Sabotaging Global Climate Agreements:

Unchecked Exploitation of Resources:

Global Warming Acceleration:

Public Health Crises:

Biodiversity Loss:

Forced Migration:

Alongside tightening the noose around governments indulging in such aggression, positive actions by governments must be encouraged. Governments adopting progressive and sustainable approaches should be commended to encourage a mindset shift. Similarly, the United Nations and other global institutions must establish standards for political parties worldwide. Those engaging in violence and extremism should be negatively marked, while political parties that promote humanitarian welfare and sustainability should be encouraged.

For example, in Pakistan, over 175 political parties exist. Among these, the older parties have, under the guise of democracy, held the country hostage and contributed to environmental degradation. However, there are also parties focused on humanity’s survival, welfare, and service.

The global community should support such political parties that align themselves with global efforts to ensure humanity's survival and welfare. Such encouragement from international organizations and communities will inspire the younger generation and motivate individuals, social movements, and political parties to aim higher for better outcomes. This would lay the foundation for better societies worldwide.

At the same time, it must not be forgotten that those responsible for climate terrorism must be punished. Governments, political parties, and organizations with negative tendencies must be deterred from contributing to humanity's destruction. These punitive measures are essential for fostering accountability and ensuring sustainable progress.
