HyperHeat Raises €3.5M to Decarbonize Industrial Heat ??

HyperHeat , co-founded by Lars Amsbeck and Frederick Lessmann , has secured €3.5 million in funding to advance its all-electric heating solution for high-temperature industrial processes. Led by APEX Ventures , the round included Finindus , Possible Ventures , E44 Ventures , Breakthrough Energy Fellows, Climate Founders and angel investors such as Pjotr van Schothorst , Jonas Schoendube , Marc Thorsten Lipps and Matt Blythe . The funding will accelerate product development and R&D efforts. HyperHeat’s technology, reaching up to 2,000°C with 98% efficiency, provides a renewable alternative to fossil fuels, targeting industries like steel, cement, and chemicals to significantly cut CO2 emissions. The first industrial products are set to launch by 2025.

Hula Earth Secures €1.6M Pre-Seed Funding ??

Hula Earth , the Munich-based startup, co-founded by Florian Geiser and David Schmider , specializing in biodiversity monitoring, has raised €1.6 million in pre-seed funding. Led by Point Nine and and supported by Climate Founders , Partners in Clime , and Earth , alongside prominent angel investors including Lawrence Leuschner , Kilian Kaminski , ???? Florian Hildebrand , and Markus Linder . The funding will advance Hula's platform, which combines proprietary BioT sensors and satellite data to track biodiversity impact. The European Space Agency is also backing the venture, highlighting its importance in addressing biodiversity loss, a key challenge of our time. The funds will help Hula support industries like food production, cosmetics, and infrastructure to achieve nature-positive goals.

Mariana, currently studying Environmental Engineering and Management at TUM, brings valuable international experience and expertise in sustainability. Marcley and Enercity Pioneer Germany’s First Community Solar Model ??

In Hannover, MARCLEY and enercity have launched Germany’s first community solar power system under the newly introduced "gemeinschaftliche Geb?udeversorgung" (GGV) model. This innovative system uses dynamic allocation to distribute solar power from a rooftop PV system to the building's residents, covering up to 40% of their energy needs. This approach simplifies shared solar power use compared to traditional tenant models, setting a precedent for sustainable urban energy solutions.
