"Climate Change Puts Children in Northeast and South Thailand at High Risk: Urgent Action Needed"

As a lover of Thailand, it breaks my heart to hear that the children in the northeast and south of the country are at such a high risk from the devastating effects of climate change. The latest report from UNICEF highlights that floods, droughts, and heat waves are endangering the health and development of these vulnerable children. It's heartbreaking to think that these little ones, whose immune systems are already fragile, are at risk of water contamination, food insecurity, and the spread of diseases.

But the damage doesn't stop there. If we don't take action now, these children will suffer in other areas of their lives, including access to education, essential services, and food supplies. They may suffer from malnutrition, stress, anxiety, and even death. The impact of environmental degradation will rob them of their future, and it's a child rights issue that's not getting the attention it deserves.

Thailand is ranked 50th out of 163 countries in terms of children at risk from climate change ! and the most vulnerable groups are disproportionately affected. If we don't act soon, it's predicted that Thai children will be suffering from intense heatwaves by 2050. It's up to us as a society to take action and mitigate the perils of environmental damage.

At LB Aresia, we believe in taking a proactive approach to environmental conservation. That's why we always strive to target zero carbon footprint in all our projects, whether it's our hotels, glamping sites, eco-lodges, or tree and creative houses. We understand the urgency of the situation and the need to protect our planet for future generations. It's our responsibility to act now and make a difference.
