A Climate Almanac for Kids
For several months I have had the opportunity to work on a project that is changing conversations about climate change across the globe. Literally.
During the initial months of the Carbon Almanac project, a team of +300 contributors from around the world worked together under the guidance of Seth Godin to create The Carbon Almanac, a book about climate change. It's a book of facts, not opinions, and it will be published next month by Penguin Random House. There will be more about the book later.
Today there is other news.
Today The Carbon Almanac Network is excited to announce the publication of Generation Carbon: It's Time to Start, an almanac for kids that tackles the difficult questions they have about climate change.
Published on April 29, Generation Carbon (a free ebook) has already been downloaded more than 10,000 times. You and I are uniquely positioned to get Generation Carbon to many more children through our networks, not to mention teachers, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, informal science educators, environmental educators, and community leaders. Please share this resource with your networks. If you use social media, consider using the hashtags below. Thank you for your help.

2 年Interesting idea.
Mentoring women committed to sharing their story & speaking their mind to connect & inspire for good.
2 年This is just the beginning Tania Marien! So much here to share. You took a risk last October & look at what you helped bring to life! As a high schooler you were inspired to share knowledge that another teacher deftly conveyed to you. Look what you are sharing with others! ??
