Ahead of COP28, the Business Declares Open Letter signed by over 2000 business leaders has been delivered to No.10 Downing Street, calling for urgent action on climate and nature.

This collective call urges Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to put an end to new fossil fuel developments, take action to protect and restore nature, halt further decline by 2023, and rapidly scale up investments in renewables.

The initiative, backed by the Net Zero Review head Rt Hon Chris Skidmore MP reflects a crucial step towards aligning business interests with global climate goals.

BREAKING DOWN COP28: THE CRITICAL CLIMATE CONFERENCE

Today?marks the beginning of COP28, one of the world’s most pivotal sustainability events. But do we really know the inner workings of the conference? Green Element Group Co-founder and Strategy Director Emma Littlewood has teamed up with Georgia Elliot-Smith of Element Four to break down COP28 and reveal some shocking statistics.

Here's a sneak-peak into the podcast:

So, throughout 2022, $30 million a minute was subsidising oil and gas. And that is according to something called the IMF, which is the International Monetary Fund. That's about double what is spent on education globallyEmma Littlewood, Green Element Group Co-founder and Strategy Director
