Understand Clients

Usually during the training few trainers were saying to treat the client like a God, because at the end of the day clients are the one whom we are serving and they are giving us business. We should follow there specification while we are working with them. Many of us will agree over this statement, however have we ever thought on the other way.
It is common to hear, clients are demanding, clients are rigid, clients are keep on changing the specification etc. does it not makes us to re-think about the client characteristics.
I have all together a different prospect because of what I saw here. That changes client’s resemblance from God to a child. Now there is a possibility that the child, which you are working with, will be a well-mannered baby or a crybaby but I am sure, it will easier for you to work with him as you know the characteristics of a child.
Now the question is why am I saying that? Well I have a solid reason for it. While interacting with the clients if we go with reasonable justifications, practical reasons with proper examples, they will agree what we are trying to explain them and they will be firm about what exactly they are asking for. Now on the other hand if we talked about those who are just rigid about what they want, then they are not going to listen us, that doesn’t make us to stop trying. Clients actually want to trust us blindly. Again think about the child’s character, what they want, they just want it and they want from us, not from others. So here we can try to make them understand a second time and the third time. The only thing we have to assure that we don’t break their trust on us and we should always be prepared while working with them.
Now as you can see all these three types of clients’ quality you will easily find in any child. They do trust you, they don’t expect their trust to be breached, they do argue with you and once you start talking to them, making them understand they do listen to you and understand you.
For me if we just think, how to deal with the child, I'm sure we will be in better situation while handling our clients and we can serve them better.
