Client wins that aren't predicated on dastardly marketing ploys

Raise your hand if you once thought taking your work to the next level would involve all-consuming, slimy-feeling marketing ploys ????

Of course, now that you're part of my world, you know it doesn’t have to be that intense or feel that gross!

You know that you can attract better opportunities, make a bigger impact and see more revenue with just a little more understanding, better prioritization, and some consistent action.

But JUST IN CASE you forgot...

Here's your reminder that marketing does NOT have to be:

  • Aggressive
  • Time-consuming
  • Salesy
  • Overwhelming or
  • Technically complex...

This Fall, our marketing clients are celebrating some incredible wins:

Win #1: One client received 28 quality applications for their year-long certification program. This is the highest number of applicants yet for a program only 3 years old and still in stages of fine-tuning. The interest list for the program has grown to 330 people.

Win #2: Another is not experiencing a so-called "industry gap" – a prediction by experts in his field that there will be far fewer opportunities held in the coming year due to trends during the height of the pandemic. His booking rate actually exceeds that of pre-pandemic years, not at all following this dismal prediction.

Win #3: In a last-minute effort to open their certification application to the wider public, another client saw a 500% increase in web traffic on their site, and received 20 applications, far surpassing their modest goal of 8-10.

Win #4: Yet another client has booked and worked on 130 projects in 2023, spanning large-scale scopes of work to more intimate projects.

Win #5: One client launched a brand new podcast into the world! Without a large, existing audience, and using a grassroots approach to attract listeners, we're thrilled to see 560 total downloads of the podcast across its first 3 episodes. It has a global bent, so seeing only 44% of listeners are in the US, and all other listeners are tuning in worldwide, is also incredibly exciting!

The best part?

None of them used pushy, sleazy, over-the-top or ultra-expensive strategies to achieve the success they were seeking.

They harnessed the power of content marketing, organic and small-budget paid social media efforts, direct outreach, and stayed on message.
