Space Designer 3D is an interactive tool which enables everyone involved in the making of the project, be it a house, an office space or a staged event to creatively expose their vision. Starting from the end-user, one drawing becomes the place where all modifications are done, before sending it to the design office or the manufacturer. The drawing can be modified in real-time if there is a need to amend the building permit, the window size, or any other modification. We can thus forget the hundreds of 2D drawings which undeniably will get lost or wrongly transcribed when exported into yet another file format.

We have been lucky to grow alongside our clients in the past ten years. 3D Event Designer is a Californian event-planning company. For 10 years, 3D Event Designer has helped businesses and individuals design and share their events online in 3D. Their goal is to transform the way events are planned, and accelerate the real estate leasing process through innovative 3D technology.

“We felt that the event planning industry was pretty archaic, working only with sketches and 2D floor plans, and that our clients needed 3D.

Armoires Cuisines Action

Armoires Cuisines Action is a Quebec company that manufactures and designs kitchens and bathroom furniture. Founded in 1989, the company currently has 250 employees.

Armoires Cuisines Action designs, retails, manufactures, delivers and installs custom-made kitchen cabinets, vanities, cabinets, laundry rooms and walk-in closets. This requires a high degree of precision, especially with regard to the dimensions of the modules to be installed, in order to be sure that it corresponds to the space available at the customer’s premises.

The company has opened an online shop. This allows Armoires Cuisines Action’s customers to buy their modules via the Internet, without going to a store.

However, this option poses a number of problems, particularly with regard to the possible omission of elements such as handles or panels. By opting for the Space Designer 3D custom solution, Armoire Cuisine Action allows its customers to plan their kitchen via an online designer. The customer prepares his plan on the online designer, chooses the materials for the modules and then transfers the objects from the software to their shopping cart via the integration of an e-commerce platform.

“ Space Designer 3D allows the customer to visualize his project much more easily. The application also allows our kitchen designers to log on, go and see the plans made and correct them if necessary. We can now check whether a panel, handles, or countertop is missing, if everything is working.It’s a real advantage for us,” says Amélie Beaupré, merchandiser. “In online sales, it’s a considerable advantage to have an online configurator over our competitors.”

Carréneuf

Carréneuf is a real estate group that invests in innovation and customer satisfaction. To do so, Carréneuf accompanies their clients in the construction process of their home from beginning to end with different tools.

“Before using Space Designer 3D, we used professionals to create exterior visuals. At client meetings, we would scribble on paper to show plan changes.

Nowadays, we do almost all the customization of houses. Each project is different, because the house model has to be adapted to the constraints of the land. This morning, in an appointment, I selected a house model with my client, improved it according to his needs and adapted it on the ground. The client could immediately see what the house model he chose would look like.

I made a sale thanks to the virtual reality headset in just two appointments: after making contact at a trade show, the prospect came to an appointment. I changed the location of a partition wall, placed his furniture and then showed him the plan. He was immediately convinced and signed.

Before the appointment, we suggest that the client go and see our house models. This allows us to understand his desires, tastes, budget, even before meeting him. It helps in the pre-qualification of prospects and saves a lot of time in appointments. They tell us “I liked this model” and we start from there to find a solution adapted to their needs.

I am satisfied with Space Designer, I find it very useful. Today, I make 70% to 80% of my sales with Space Designer 3D”.

MMC Groupe

MMC is a single-family home builder. The 3D configurator used by one of their sites, maison olmière, allows their customers to obtain.

“We had had other tools before, which weren’t well utilized. We think that Space Designer 3D is a very effective way to show our customers what they’ll be getting in the end. On our website, there’s a picture of an actual lab and then there is a slide-across bar with the 3D model, and it’s really cool.

I had a meeting today, and we can draw on-screen with them the design, it gives it a whoa factor. We used to do out-sourced drawings for our clients before, and they were very basic. This is much better, it allows to link it with inventory which makes the coordination process a lot easier.
