Client Talk FIRESIDE JULY 2023
Client Talk
Helping ambitious professional services companies grow through coaching, training & client listening.
Hello, welcome to Client Talk's Fireside for July
Since our last newsletter I've been putting the finishing touches to The Power of Stories: The Class of 2002 One Year On. My study into gender parity in partnerships led to many conversations, speaking slots, and an evolution in my thinking. I wanted to share that knowledge - as well as provide additional reflections to help firms drive change.?
Many of you will have provided your support to my diversity survey. I have gathered insights from professionals inside firms, as well as from clients. The report will be launched in the coming weeks, sent out to those who contributed to the report, and then available to download for free so keep watch on LinkedIn for an update! ?
This month we became authorised partners of?Coaching-On-The-Go. The Coaching On the Go GIZMO is the creation of Dr. Phil Renshaw and Dr. Jenny Robinson. Using extensive academic research they have devised a tool to measure the 15 key coaching skills leaders need.?These are key to adopting a leadership style that works for the challenges of today - and tomorrow.?If you want to find out more, get in touch.?
Also, it's finally here! We are delighted to have launched our?on-demand leadership academy.?Our online leadership academy has been designed for international firms (we know that time zones and language can be a barrier to live training); smaller Regional firms in the UK (our courses are a cost-effective solution for smaller firms) and sole practitioners, or a single professional looking to go deeper with their learning.?We hope that our on-demand courses can help you get better at business development, reaping the rewards. Why not check out our FREE business development: The Foundations taster course here?

Most associates have to put forward a business case to be made up and invariably that needs to point to strong relationships and the ability to bring in business. They need a plan and numbers.
Here we explore the problem that faulty thinking around partners and business development causes.?
