A reputable fantasy sports platform in the UAE with a significant user base of 50k+ real users.
Challenge:
The client desired a fantasy sports app with real money capabilities, but UAE government regulations restricted real money involvement in such platforms. This posed a significant challenge as the client needed to adhere to these regulations while still offering a compelling revenue generating model & smooth user experience.
Brainstorming:
To address the regulatory constraints, we mutually agreed on building e-commerce feature into the app. This approach allowed users to engage in e-commerce transactions, purchasing products within the app while earning virtual coins as rewards for participating in fantasy games. By combining fantasy sports with e-commerce, we ensured compliance with government regulations while enhancing user engagement. But time was limited.

To meet the client's deadline, we offered our white-label solution which integrates Shopify rather than building e-commerce feature from scratch, this solution of ours included multiple sports options & a custom UI design. Minor adjustments were made to ensure seamless integration and compliance with regulatory requirements.
