My students in General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive are seeking companies to partner with to design a feature, component or aspect of the company's product or site – and we’d love for you to participate!
If you have a project in your backlog, and can commit to working with our students for 6-10 hours over a 2.5-week span, we’d love to talk with you. Our student design teams can develop a design strategy and implementable deliverables for a new digital product, a new feature or function of an existing digital product, or anything that could benefit from a fresh, user-centered perspective. At the end of the project, you’ll receive a design proposal including wireframes and basic prototypes based on those insights.
This 2.5-week project will begin on Monday, June 20th and conclude on Wednesday, July 6th or Thursday, July 7th. To participate, here’s what we’ll need from you:
-
A brief phone call to discuss the scope of the project with the program instructor (me or one of my co-instructors)
-
Meetings with our students on June 20th and July 6th/7th at General Assembly in San Francisco
-
Access, collaboration and feedback to and from your design team (6-10 hours over a 2.5-week period)
-
Relevant analytics (qualitative and quantitative)
-
Key design files and tools (logos, design patterns, company specific software tools)
-
Access to your site and/or product currently in development
-
Consent to our UX designers publishing project deliverables on their online portfolios (we do not disclose proprietary or customer information, but NDAs will not be signed).
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the following survey by June 10th. My program producer, Jasmin Lopez, will follow up about scheduling a phone call to discuss more details about the project.
There is no cost for participating in our client projects, just a desire to benefit from the UX process and an interest in making a significant connection with talented UX designers that might be a perfect fit for your growing team.
Thanks for your interest!
The GA SF UXDi team
