?If It Clicks It Sticks

?If It Clicks It Sticks

Have you ever had one of those moments when something just clicks? Like the last piece of a puzzle snapping perfectly into place or the lightbulb moment that suddenly makes everything clear? Well, I've been thinking a lot about why that happens and wanted to share some of my observations with you.

We're all on this constant path of discovery, navigating the vast puzzle that is our life. Imagine trying to assemble thousands of different puzzles simultaneously, always on the lookout for the next piece that brings a bit more clarity. One of the most intriguing puzzles for me has always been about mindset and decision-making.

Recently, I stumbled upon something that immediately clicked: the concept of a life board of advisors. This idea has been a vehicle for helping others understand how I approach decisions and mindset. (By the way, if you missed my last email, you can read it here: https://gpreneur.beehiiv.com/p/dream-board-life-advisors)

So, what exactly is a life board of advisors? Think of it as a personal panel of mentors, each offering a unique perspective. When faced with a decision, you can tap into their ideologies, viewing the situation through their different lenses.?

The same situation can look entirely different depending on who's looking at it. That's because perspective shapes our reality. By leveraging the diverse viewpoints of your board, you can gain a more comprehensive understanding of the situations you are faced with. It's like assembling the edges and corners of our puzzle– you may not have the whole picture, but you're gaining clarity and developing a better idea of what it might be.?

There's a reason why things that click tend to stick with us. Our brains are wired to form associations, creating a network of connections that helps us navigate different occurrences. When something clicks, it means we've made a new association, adding a vital piece to our puzzle.

For me, one of the biggest pieces that recently clicked was understanding my approach to mindset and decision-making. I've always been very focused on these areas but struggled to articulate my process. By adopting the life board of advisors concept, I've found a way to distill wisdom from those I admire and approach life's events through their lenses.?

How do you want to approach your way of being? If you want to take the hard work out of the equation and emulate those you idealize, start by distilling their wisdom.

Look at life through their lenses, and things might start clicking into place.

Absolutely, life's challenges often resemble assembling countless puzzles at once, each piece contributing to a clearer picture of our journey. Perspectives are crucial—they shape how we interpret and navigate the complexities around us. By embracing diverse viewpoints, we enrich our understanding and piece together the edges that form the larger, more nuanced view of our reality.
