Did you know that today, an estimated 758 million adults around the world cannot read, write or do math at a basic level? These adults don’t have access to quality schools or teachers. The millions of qualified teachers required to solve this problem simply don't exist. The world needs a highly scalable solution. Our mission is to make that happen.

Our team of educators, designers, and software engineers develops literacy apps for mobile devices that empower adults to teach themselves basic reading, writing, math, and life skills.  

AutoCognita is a semifinalist in both the Global Learning XPRIZE and the Barbara Bush Foundation Adult Literacy XPRIZE. We are proud and honored to be the only team in XPRIZE history to become a semifinalist in two different XPRIZE competitions.
