Cleveland Browns - 10 Days of Giving | Day 6

The Cleveland Browns continued their "10 Days of Giving," during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens at FirstEnergy Stadium with multiple community events and awards taking place throughout the afternoon. One highlight was when Browns players and coaches took the field in their custom cleats for the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative, while other events included an on-field moment recognizing Denzel Ward as the Browns 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year, presented by Nationwide. The Browns also hosted their annual Browns Give Back First and Ten Toy Drive, presented by Electronic Merchant Systems, and the 2021 High School Coach of the Year announcement.

2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year

CB Denzel Ward was announced as the Browns 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year, presented by Nationwide, on Dec. 7th. The award recognizes one member from each of the NFL's 32 teams for their performance on and off the field. The Haslam and Johnson families formally presented Ward with the award during on-field moment prior to the game. Ward's family established the "Make Them Know Your Name Foundation" after his father unexpectedly passed away from cardiac arrest in 2016. Browns Give Back First and Ten Toy Drive

The Cleveland Browns and local Marines hosted their annual Browns Give Back First and Ten Toy Drive, presented by Electronic Merchant Systems (EMS), before the game. Fans were encouraged to bring new unwrapped gifts ($10+) for Toys for Tots, which helps kids in need within Cuyahoga County. US Marine Corps and EMS volunteers collected items and monetary contributions at FirstEnergy Stadium gates as fans entered the stadium. EMS launched the toy drive through a $5,000 contribution.
