??April 2023: we announced the completion of our redevelopment at the Kodak building in London, a fully electric office in the heart of Covent Garden. The building achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’, WELL ‘Gold’, WiredScore ‘Platinum’ and EPC ‘B’, with the goal of catering to workers looking for energy efficient, contemporary spaces.
???July 2023: we engaged with Planet Mark and began submitting data to obtain its ‘Business Certification’ which measured our London office’s carbon footprint and social value impact. Since being awarded our first-year certification, we’ve promised to reduce our office emissions by at least 2.5% each year.?
??October 2023: we announced Alice Murray’s promotion to head of asset management and sustainability, assuming responsibility for leading the ongoing development and implementation of out ESG strategy, and coming as a part of our wider ambition to put ESG at the heart of all we do.
???February 2024: we hosted Bisnow’s UK ESG Real Estate Agenda at the Kodak building, where discussions included the importance of carbon efficiency to investors and the necessity for transparency and clarity in reporting.
???February 2024: We held our annual Clearbell Investor Day, where we looked at our sustainability achievements, especially in terms of retrofitting, and set an ambitious green agenda for the year ahead.?
??March 2024: We completed work to transform 85 Gray’s Inn Road from a former office building to a state-of-the-art lab-enabled space, placing environmental responsibility at the centre of the development and targeting a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
???March 2024: We exchanged our first letting at the newly-retrofitted Freetrade building in Manchester to Blacklock, a like-minded, sustainability focussed restaurant with B Corp status.?
