Imagine the world's most powerful and mighty Navy vessel out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. An United States Navy aircraft carrier is an incredible feat of engineering! It is arguably the most important military asset on the world's oceans. It stands as a great symbol of American military power and American freedom!
The flight deck is a beehive of activity!
Navy personnel are furiously working to repair jet fighters...
These fighters are blocking the flight path, impeding storage of planes below deck...
And circling above our two of our newest Stealth Fighters patiently awaiting a clear path to land these billion dollar marvels of American Military Superiority!!!
Now imagine what will happen if the flight decks are not cleared in time...
In time, before these Stealth Fighters run out of fuel...
And the radar officer announces fast approach storm system...
Imagine your brain to be this mighty Aircraft Carrier in the turbulent seas, with planes coming and going, frenzied activity to repair malfunctioning planes, equipment...
And there are pieces of military equipment that just should not be on the flight deck. They are serving no immediate use and in fact, are impeding progress to land the very valuable Stealth Fighters...
So, here is the analogy...
You need to keep your mind relatively clear and free so that you are receptive to those billion dollar ideas that are floating out there, just waiting for you to be receptive to them.
OK... Not every idea is a billion idea... But, those "Aha" moments can only come when Your Decks Are Clear!
So, deal with life's petty annoyances as quick as possible... Don't allow the rude cashier, the ignorant driver who just cut you off, the petty office bullshit, or any of a myriad of "space takers" to clog your decks and prevent you from handling the important tasks and be ready to receive that next "Aha" moment or even, the next billion dollar idea!
Think about it!
AND CLEAR YOUR DECKS!!!
