The Cleaning Crew

Another day with biting-cold wind arrived which put a damper on my morning plans, so instead, I busied myself around the office with sorting, cleaning and pitching, and by the time that was done, I was alerted by another agent that an offer on one of my listings had just been emailed to me.

After countering back and forth several times, it appears we have the home sold, so hopefully the financing will go sailing thru. There's no question in my mind, that home will go down this year as being one of the better-built and well cared-for homes I've had an opportunity to market. Without a doubt, the new buyer will likely not have to make any major repairs or updates for years to come.

While waiting for those responses from buyer and seller, I went ahead and paid several bills which arrived late, and then headed back to my little nook and started cracking more walnuts. I would say if I should have time to work at them again tomorrow, there'll only be about one-third of them remaining to be cracked. Yes, it has become an over-due project, but hopefully it'll be finished soon.

I also had an opportunity to get all the newsfeeds read, and when checking later, I discovered the House of Representatives passed the Ukraine funding bill which has been long-overdue, and all thanks to that 'bat shite' crazy Marjorie Taylor Greene's continuous threats to oust Mike Johnson from the speakership. I really have to start appropriately referring to her as 'Moscow Marjorie'.

Another interesting tidbit of news I thought worthy of sharing, was having read where the 'baby boomers' are now considered to be the most likely to believe fake news, and after thinking about some 'boomers' I personally know, I'd say the author of that article is spot on. I have close relatives whom I don't even want to converse with anymore because of how polluted their minds have become from all the crazy conspiracy theories they've come to believe as being hard and fast truths. There was a point in time in my life where I actually thought they were level-headed, but not anymore. Of course I know for a fact they subscribe to all those fanatical publications, along with having their noses glued to programs like Newsmax and Fox News. I actually don't even have empathy for them anymore because deep in the recesses of their minds, they know better. I dare say, some of their rantings are simply done to get attention. Poor souls.

Since I had a very long day, the only thing I can share before closing, is my having shared some hair-raising stories with a friend of mine today regarding the experiences I've had over these many years with what I refer to as 'entities' or 'energies', and with that said, all I can share at this time, is my having spoken about moonshine, horse hooves, a poltergeist, the cleaning crew, the three variables, and the 'man' who could walk thru a closed barn door, so stay tuned because over these coming days, I may share some of them with you. Keep in mind, those beyond coincidence episodes did actually happen. All I can say, is any time someone says there's no such thing as 'entities' or 'energies', I simply smile and say, “Just you wait.”
