To clean your Windows system from bugs and viruses and improve its performance, follow these steps:
### 1. Run a Full System Scan for Viruses
- Update your antivirus software: If you have an antivirus installed, ensure it’s updated to the latest version.
- Run a full scan: Scan your entire system to detect and remove any viruses or malware. If you don't have antivirus software, you can use Windows Defender, which is built into Windows.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection, and run a Quick scan or Full scan.
### 2. Remove Malware with Malwarebytes
- Download and install Malwarebytes (a trusted malware removal tool).
- Run a full system scan to remove hidden malware and potentially harmful programs.
### 3. Update Windows and Drivers
- Keep your Windows updated to fix any system bugs:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Check for updates.
- Update all drivers, especially those related to graphics, network, and chipset:
- You can use Device Manager or tools like Driver Booster to update drivers.
### 4. Uninstall Unwanted or Suspicious Programs
- Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Remove any unfamiliar or suspicious software, especially toolbars or unnecessary browser extensions.
### 5. Disable Startup Programs

### 8. Defragment Your Hard Drive

- Run the optimization on your drives.
### 9. Check for Corrupted System Files
- Use SFC (System File Checker):
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
- This will scan for and repair corrupted system files.
10. Reinstall Windows (as a Last Resort)
If none of the above steps work and your system is still sluggish or infected, consider reinstalling Windows:

Following these steps should clean your system and significantly boost performance.
