A Clean Way to Journal Activity

A Clean Way to Journal Activity

Collective Impact includes all the other ways you can leave a legacy through your company besides making money. From experience, you have to free up time to make a Collective Impact. You can do two things to free up time. I write on both - principled decision-making in the Weekly Truth & team communication improvement here.

I share daily challenges, solutions, obstacles, and their impact that I learn, as I show clients how to improve the team communication process. I show them using the book, Traction and Ninety to run better meetings with positive and easier accountability. To begin, please learn more about Collective Impact.

The goal of these posts is to support your knowledge, experience, and activities to improve team communication and hopefully make you comfortable sharing your experience with others here.

Team Communication Improvement #4

A Clean Way to Journal Activity

A challenge for many, even with the ability to focus, is to journal activity and track progress towards a goal. The solution is using the 'rock' feature in Ninety for the goal and then document progress as individual milestones. This documents what you've done to complete the rock (or goal). An obstacle is doing too much. The impact is the benefit of knowing what you've done to get where you are and seeing the next few milestones ahead in a visual manner to sustain focus.

Upward & onward, Darren
