Clean Water Brings Community

On August 21st  I will be riding in the Assenmacher 100 mile Bike Race to raise money for Hope Water Project.  I will be riding with my teammates from Team Kensington as together we are committed to raising $1 million to bring clean water to the Pokot Tribe in Kenya. I have been training since April and I am on the home stretch of training.  I have grown to love these rides because of the supportive community I have formed and the fact that my biking team and I are on mission together to ride for a purpose!

We are riding to serve the Pokot family and allow them the opportunity to have clean water. By building a well it builds community, stability and the ability for the children to get an education instead of using their resources searching for water every day to survive.  Putting it into perspective this bike ride is nothing compared to what they have to endure.
